We're optimists, and for now it's business as usual with added emphasis on even more hygiene practice than usual. We've got our systems in place, and we are confident our clients are doing their best to protect us as we are to protect YOU.
Simply follow the our everyday etiquette and you can't go wrong.
An added measure in light of Coronavirus (A>K>A The C Word) is that if you have been in contact with anyone who's travelled to an affected area or you have yourself travelled, kindly rearrange your appointment. We can't wait to see you when you're well and out of the woods.
All common sense stuff, and I am not going to teach granny to suck eggs. Plenty of negative ranters on Twitter if you have the time for that! Yawn!
Yes, we are open. Yes, you are welcome. Yes, I will tell you if the situation changes, but for now it's very much business as usual. I'm pulling out all the stops to support my staff during this time of anxiety. Help me to help them by supporting us and keeping your appointments if you can.
I am literally LOVING the community spirit in Taunton right now. There's a great group that's popped up on Facebook. Check it out here if you may need support if you have to self isolate due to fears of CoronaVirus.
This is what it's all about. People helping people. I love it. It reminds me of my childhood. Growing up in Bristol in the 70's in a street where everyone knew everyone. No one locked their doors and we just waltzed on in without knocking! My mum swapped bowls of her flippin' legendary coleslaw for bowls of Mushy Peas (we drew the short straw, clearly). We made a giant street bonfire for Guy Fawkes, and cooked potatoes wrapped in foil on the fire. We climbed trees and got stuck. We stayed out blackberry picking until dark and made go-carts from old pram chasis! If there is any silver lining in the midst of the impending unknown, it's this; community spirit is at an all-time high. The community is rallying round. I am proud of my commuinity and proud of the people of Taunton for getting on board. Three cheers!
